Firefox v1.0 is released!

Please, please, I encourage all of you to switch over to Firefox as your browser. Try Firefox from the Mozilla site.

After setting up Firefox, please test all of your usual websites. I bet you that some of them will be horribly broken – because the designers/developers could not do what *any* developer worth his while will do – test the resultant site against multiple broswers to ensure that the site works correctly. They should test their sites with the validator available at validator.w3.org.

The parliament select committee has proposed 9 persons to the President for appointment as NMPs. And I am NOT one of them.

9 totally new faces – great! One Eurasian and eight Chinese. No Indians or Malays. Not that it was ever stated that there should be a racial distribution. But hey, there were *three* Indians proposed (to the best of my knowledge), and none of us cut it? Again, the secrecy around the names of the 37 proposals mean that I really do not know who else was on the list.

OK. Fine.
